The AIM Council’s Performance Management Workshop – Developing and Using Measures to Manage will advance your understanding of the role of performance measures in informing decisions and getting better organizational results. You’ll learn ways to think about performance measurement and management that will make the measures you choose actionable and useful. You’ll be introduced to tools and templates that can help you choose and define individual measures and then group them into useful dashboards for different audiences. You’ll also examine example performance dashboards to consider whether they answer your questions about how things are going. The workshop will equip you to make your organization’s performance measurement and management practices more effective. The discussions will provide lessons and insights that you can take back to your work, whether you’re working for an agency or supporting one as a contractor/consultant.
